A SwissTransfer alternative with no email verification
SwissTransfer is one of the most generous free services. If you only need to send something small and want to skip email verification, ShareQuik is a lighter option.
- 100 MB per share
- 8-character code
- 3 days, extendable to 15
- No account
Find
Enter a share code to access shared content.
The 8-character code from the sender: 2 letters, then 6 digits.
SwissTransfer is run by Infomaniak, a Swiss company. Its help pages describe free transfers of up to 50 GB, an availability period you choose (1, 3, 7, 15 or 30 days), a choice of how many times files can be downloaded, and a one-time email address verification per device.
ShareQuik is much smaller in scope, with 100 MB per share. It asks for no verification at all before you send, and recipients use an 8-character code.
How ShareQuik works
- Step 1
Add files or text
Drop files into the Share panel above, up to 100 MB in total, or paste up to 3,000 words of text.
- Step 2
Generate a share code
Select Generate Code. ShareQuik uploads everything and shows a code like BX678095 that you can copy, text or read out.
- Step 3
The recipient enters the code
On any ShareQuik page they type the code into the Find panel, enter an email address, and download the files.
What ShareQuik does differently
No verification step
Upload on any device, including a borrowed or public one, without confirming an email address first.
Short code for recipients
An 8-character code is quick to type on another device or read out loud.
Text alongside files
Add notes or instructions to the share for the recipient to read first.

- ShareQuik: small transfers from a device where you’d rather not verify an email, or when a code is easier than a link.
